Coming Together in Solidarity and Support During this Tragic Time
Dearest Community Members,
We at Healthy Acadia are deeply saddened by the tragic mass shooting in Lewiston last night. Our hearts go out to the victims of the shooting, their families and loved ones, law enforcement and other first responders, and everyone across our communities who are grappling with grief, fear, anger, and more. We hope and pray for a quick recovery for those who are injured, rapid and full accountability for the person responsible, and no more violence.
We know that in this small, tight-knit community that is our State of Maine, most - if not all - of us are connected to the Lewiston Community in some way. We wish you comfort, care, healing, and love during this time of grief, and we hope you take good care of yourselves and each other.
