Farewell, Lizzie Cunningham

Please join us in wishing Lizzie Cunningham a very fond farewell! Lizzie, who started with Healthy Acadia about a year ago under her maiden name Meier, was a stellar Nutrition Educator in Hancock County. She taught youth and adult classes with a buoyant energy and a great sense of fun. Among her many accomplishments, Lizzie helped develop a veggie share program for WIC families in coordination with the Downeast Gleaning Initiative. This program delivered produce shares, recipes, and nutritional information to 37 Hancock County families receiving WIC benefits for four weeks.

We are wishing Lizzie a big congratulations on her recent nuptials, as well as in her new role as Experience Coordinator at Women for Healthy Rural Living in Milbridge. Lizzie lives with her husband Dan at Folklore Farm in Cherryfield, and is excited to embark on this new role which is not only a fantastic match for her skills and passions, but will also enable her to be closer to home and the farm. We wish Lizzie all the best and we look forward to future collaborations with her in her new role.
