Nicholas, what prompted you to join the Healthy Acadia team?

This is my first foray into the world of recovery coaching. The internship program was a huge factor in joining Healthy Acadia. It gave me the opportunity to join an established team with connections throughout the state and the resources necessary to succeed. I am currently enrolled in the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy program and am looking forward to completing my certification and serving as a recovery coach in my community.

What most inspires you about Healthy Acadia's work?

I really appreciate all the support and caring of the team and the level of communication throughout.

What most inspires you on a personal level?

I’m inspired by the hope of a brighter future for all and everyone out there making a difference for the better.

What is your favorite thing to do, or place to be, in Maine, and why?

There’s a little outlook area near where I live that I occasionally go to for the amazing view of the mountains. Being able to take it all in and appreciate the grandness of life.

I have two cats, Frye and Chloe, and a rescue pit bull, Rebel. One of my favorite things to do is paint. I do a lot of pour-painting, and occasionally, an abstract.

Email Nicholas.
