Emergency Overnight Warming Center Open During Weekend Storm

We wish you a safe weekend as our region braces for forecasted heavy rains and strong winds from Storm Philippe.

The Emergency Overnight Warming Center, located at Healthy Acadia’s Inspire Recovery Center, 24 Church Street, Ellsworth, will be open from 10 AM Saturday, October 7 through 10 AM Sunday, October 8.

The Center welcomes those who are unhoused or unsafely housed from across Hancock and Washington counties. Cots, mats, and comfortable seating will be available.
