Please join us in welcoming Lisa Dyer to the Healthy Acadia team!
Lisa joins us as Maine-ARC Hancock County Recovery Coach Coordinator. Lisa brings to this position a rich background in serving others in a variety of settings such as corrections, social services and the mental health field. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health and Human Services.
Lisa, what prompted you to join the Healthy Acadia team?
I like to work with positive people and be part of a team.
What most inspires you about Healthy Acadia's work?
Working and serving our communities is of great importance to me. Recovery Coaching may be the stepping stone to help people enter recovery.
What most inspires you on a personal level?
Finding my happy place and true self at the beach always makes me happy and inspired.
What is your favorite thing to do, or place to be, in Maine, and why?
I like to draw and sketch artwork in the forests of Maine because it makes me feel very centered and good. To relax I enjoy reading, quilting, crocheting, and writing stories!
