Andrew, what prompted you to join the Healthy Acadia team?
I'm passionate about working with young people in our community and finding ways to be creative together.
What most inspires you about Healthy Acadia's work?
The breadth of Healthy Acadia's work is inspiring to me. This organization is working to support members of our community at every stage of their lives in vital ways and I love being part of exploring what it means to have Strong Beginnings.
What most inspires you on a personal level?
I'm inspired by collaboration. I love it when a group of passionate individuals pools their resources to create something bigger than themselves.
What is your favorite thing to do, or place to be, in Maine, and why?
I love performing puppet shows for young people in Maine. I love an outdoor performance that gives an audience the opportunity to imagine together and breathe life into an object by dreaming together about what's possible.
I love riding my bike, speaking French, and traveling to new places. I love the work of Anton Chekhov and I host a bi-weekly Chekhov club to read his plays out loud. Since 2008, I've been making theatre in a Barn in Tremont that used to be my grandmother's antique shop.
Andrew resides in Tremont.
