Amy, what prompted you to join the Healthy Acadia team?
As a Nutrition educator I teach eligible community members how to eat healthy on a limited budget and lead physically active lifestyles. I’m excited to get back in to the field of Nutrition while getting to help the community in the process.
What most inspires you about Healthy Acadia's work?
The way they are so involved with all members of the community.
What most inspires you on a personal level?
Helping the children of the community learn and get excited about healthy food and just getting their interest in food in general.
What is your favorite thing to do, or place to be, in Maine, and why?
I love sitting on Otter Cliff and listening to the waves. My grandmother used to love the ocean.
Amy currently resides in Ellsworth and shares her home with three wonderfully lazy drooling bulldogs.
